Lightbox Studios LLC ("we", "us", "our") operates the CrewTap mobile application and related services (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

1. Information We Collect

Contractor Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and optional company name and contractor license number.

Worker Profile Information: Worker profiles are created by CrewTap administrators during an in-person onboarding process. We collect the worker's name, phone number, photo, skills, city, and availability preferences.

Usage Data: We collect information about how you interact with the Service, including hire requests created, ratings submitted, and app usage patterns.

Device Information: We collect device identifiers and push notification tokens to deliver notifications about hire request status updates.

Location Data (Optional): If a worker uses the optional digital check-in feature, a single GPS coordinate is captured at the moment of check-in. We do not continuously track location. This data is retained for a maximum of 90 days and then automatically deleted.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

When a contractor initiates a hire request, the contractor's first name and phone number are shared with the worker via SMS so the two parties can communicate directly. Worker phone numbers are never displayed in the app and are only used server-side to deliver SMS notifications.

4. Data Retention

Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. Hire request records are retained for business and legal purposes. GPS check-in data, if collected, is automatically deleted after 90 days. You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Section 7).

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encryption at rest and in transit, access controls, and secure authentication. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

6. SMS Communications

Workers receive SMS messages when a contractor initiates a hire request. Workers consent to receive these messages during the in-person onboarding process. Message frequency varies based on demand (estimated 1–10 messages per week). Standard message and data rates may apply. Workers can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message.
